KoDev

Terms of service

The rules for ordering custom work from KoDev. By sending a request or paying a quote you agree to them.

Who I am

KoDev is the freelance work of Victor, a developer and designer based in Brazil. "I" and "me" mean KoDev; "you" means the person or server ordering the work.

KoDev is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.

Requests and quotes

You describe your project and budget through the request form. I review it and send a quote to your Discord DMs with the price, the expected delivery time and the number of revisions included.

A quote is a fixed price for the scope described in it. New features or changes outside that scope are quoted separately before I work on them.

I may decline any request, including requests that break the Minecraft EULA, the law, or someone else's rights.

Payment

Payments are made by PayPal, Pix or card (processed by Stripe), in the currency shown on the quote. Work starts once the payment is confirmed.

Payment details are handled by those providers. I never see or store your card number.

Delivery and revisions

Delivery times in a quote are estimates in working days (Tuesday to Saturday). I'll tell you as soon as possible if something changes.

Each project includes up to 2 revisions unless the quote says otherwise. Bug fixes during production are free and unlimited.

Files are delivered through your account or Discord ticket, packaged and ready to use.

Refunds

You can cancel and get a refund at any time before the final files are delivered. If part of the work is already done, I may keep a share proportional to the work completed, and I'll tell you the amount first.

After the final files are delivered, payments are not refundable. Opening a chargeback after delivery is treated as a breach of these terms.

Ownership and use

Once the project is paid and delivered, the delivered files and their source are yours to use, edit and run on your server however you want.

I may show the finished work in my portfolio and on social media. If you need the project kept private, tell me before the quote is accepted.

Third-party assets (fonts, libraries, sounds) keep their own licenses. I'll tell you when a project includes one.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for how the work is used on your server, including following the Minecraft EULA and commercial usage guidelines.

Anything you send me (references, textures, code) must be yours or used with permission.

Liability

Work is delivered as described in the quote. To the extent allowed by law, my total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it, and I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost server revenue.

Accounts

You need an account linked to Discord to send requests. Keep your login safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. I may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse.

Changes and law

I may update these terms. The version in force when you accept a quote applies to that project.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Questions: [email protected].
